New lights

I got my new 150watt 10K reeflux bulbs in today and fired them for the first time with ARO electronic ballasts.

They came on and at the highest intensity they are now pulsing or sort of flashing. Do these burn in weird? Are they bad?

are you positive that they're electronic?
::shrugs:: I don't know other than that the ballast would be magnetic, underpowering the bulb?

Yeah they are electronic. It seems the last umph it needs isn't kicking in. I've going to let it run for another hour and then see what happens I guess.

One ballast is brand new and the other one is only about 2 months old.
