I agree with the 2x 250w Pheonix heaters. Work like a champ for me.

This is EXACTLY why I made a reply in another post about deciding if you actually need a heater. If you don't, don't put one in the tank. I understand that some peoples tanks are different and might need a heater. I've heard failure stories at about a rate of 100 to 1 success.
