The best picts are really with Macro lenses. I just bought a Nikon D80 not too long ago and the quality is well worth the price.

I agree. the d80 was a great choice even though she paid alot (around 1500) but she got free classes out the wazoo. I will always advise to buy new when it comes to a camera, as the technology is progressing!
