Try finding out who this person would report to. I spent a first career as a sales mangler. Find out who the biggest users of the product in the territory are, then go by the stores and see if you can get them to give you info. Or, call the company and find out who the Regional Manager or Sales Manager is for the area. If you do this, hang up first. Then a phone call with to that person will really impress them with your ingenuity and persistance. Also, you can often find them via email if you can find an email address for someone else at the company, by piecing it together. Get creative. I've personally viewed 1000's of resumes, and you need to do ANYTHING that will get someone to pause and read yours. A photo of you surrounded by about 20 happy dogs, for instance.
Oh, yeah, one more thing. Check and see if there are any dog shows coming up - most of them attend. Jack Onofrio is the super for most of them (
