    Default Sequence Snapper

Anyone ever use a Sequence Snapper pump before? Their sorta new from what I have gathered ;) Basically just like a Dart, but with a smaller motor (I think).

    Snapper:
    2400 GPH @ 0ft
    11' max
    2" in and 1.5" out
    98 watts
    $199.95

    Dart:
    3600 GPH @ 0ft
    12' max head height
    2" in and 1.5" out
    135 watts
    $229.95

2400 GPH @ only 98watts is pretty darn good! A nice dependable pump manufacturer and it will run cooler than a submersible.

For comparison a Mag 24 is:
Flow Rate: 2400 GPH maximum flow with a 20` shut-off
    Power Consumption: 265 Watts
Outlet Size / Inlet Size: 1" MPT / 1" FPT

Not sure if I would use a Dart or a Snapper for my return. I probably wouldn't need 'all' the flow for the return if I would use a Dart. BUT I could always crank down the output with a valve, and that is said to reduce the wattage used too....

You didn't list what it was for so it makes it that much more difficult to form an opinion.

I'd use it for a return...but it could be used for other applications too.

It all depends of what you want it for

I'm going to be using the Dart to run both the skimmer and teed off as the return.
