    Josh,I used to bowfish for Alligator Gar when we lived in Orange. Kinda wild pokin' an 80# from a boat at night. What a rush!

    Gars are just carp with teeth. I used to hunt them at the golf courses in Waller Texas, dont need no stinkin boat! lmao

    Just don't post any pics of the fish with the arrow through it, might be considered cruelty to animals by the "liberal".....that don't understand... ;)

    I had a guy I worked with that used to bow fish all the time for tilapia out at Calavares. He had a large deck installed onto his boat that would put him up about three feet higher than the existing deck of his Kenner. He said he loved it because he could get a better view from up there of where the fish were.

    its a ton of fun dont just go out and buy the most expesnive bow even a cheapie ie fred bear will work pse sells a good kit for it just pay attn to local laws ie bowfishing tilapia in san marcos river = ticket
