I know he ate them, I watched that, but that is normal for any shrimp to start devouring a dead fish. I have seen him chase my newer fish around but I haven't seen him kill any of them. It isn't a common thing for cleaner shrimp to kill fish, I am just paranoid because the cleaner shrimp I had in my last tank did start killing and eating my fish. I wasn't sure why they were dying until one day I watched him hunt and catch my dwarf lion. Once I got rid of him I had no problems. I think my problem now is a mantis shrimp or something in my liverock. It is a small tank so they wouldn't have any problems grabbing a fish.

WHEW! That leopard wrasse is a punk for leading me on such a frantic search, but I'm glad he decided to come out from hiding just now.

Maybe I don't have a mantis, just paranoia.

I was going to tell you to check the sand, but you said you sifted it. My wrasse loves burrowing in the sand. Glad its still alive.

Just wanted to say I had a cleaner shrimp as well and it munched a bi color sudo-chromis, royal gramma, green chromis, and a cleaner wrasse. I thought I was really doing something wrong with loosing all of these fish until one day I swapped it for a different fish and all of the sudden all of my fish were fine. I even added the royal grama again and haven't lost any other fish since. Crazy huh.
