    Default is this to much light?

    I found what I think to be a deal, but is it to much for my 75g RA

    48" Metal Halide HQI Reef Aquarium Light 2X250 Watt / 760W Total!
    Light specs.
    -(2) 250 Watt HQI Double Ended 10K Bulbs
    -(4) 65 Watt Power Compact Blue Actinic Bulbs
    -(12) LED Moonlights
    -2 AquaVue Energy Efficient External Ballasts
    -1 AquaVue Energy Efficient Internal CF Ballast
    -Separate Power Cords For Each Device
    -Separate Switches For Each Device
    -Large Built-In Cooling Fan
    -Black Aluminum Non-Corosive Powder Coated Housing
    -German Reflectors
    -Mounting Legs
    -Tempered Glass Splash Guard

    No that is a good amount just be carefull when introduceing new corals or for your old corals make sure you acclamait them good to the new lights
    Some people are like slinkys, they are really good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

    That sounds exactly like the Ebay model from a dealer with a name like aqualights or aquactinics that KyleV bought. It is a really nice set up. You see them in Craigslist ads as well.

    BTW that's the exact setup I have on my 75g except I made it myself.

    well I guess I might just have to give it a try. I was looking at the Coralife PC Pro that looks just like it but way less watts and half the price!

    I used to run 2x250 watt MH plus 2x96 watt PC actinics on a 58 gallon. The light is a great amount for SPS but you have to watch your heat.
