ok so i have just within the last 2 mths started doing corals etc and i have about 25 hermits and a serpent star and two turbo snails now my question is is this enough of a crew for a 72 gal system also is there any other kind of snail that i can get that wont act like a bull in a china shop knocking all my frags over etc?

When you feed they become really active and will crawl all over your corals. Also if you spot feed any corals they can directly remove the food intended fro the corals. I have one tahts over 10yrs old but have seen no ill effects to my corals. I highly recommend them if you have fish. They are good scavengers and if you happen to have a fish bite it!! they will take care of them very quickly.

Couldn't agree more on the serpent. I always try to keep one since they do such a good job of keeping the tank clean of any deaths. Never had any problems with them bothering corals or fish from any of mine. I previously have had a green serpent and a harlequin serpent.
