    Default Snail ID?

Ive noticed a shell on my colony of zoas that has pretty much been there since i bought it. I have never seen it anywhere but on that colony and (not 100% sure) but i think it moves around on it. Pic aint the best but thats the mystery critter in the middle left of the pic. I just want to make sure its just a snail or something and not a critter i needa get outta there

You do need to get it out of there, it's a sun dial snail, they feed on zoas.

Thats the little bugger! Crap, he was in there a long time. No telling how much damage he did and i never noticed. Got it out now though. Anyone know if the slime in the zoa colony would be from him. I cant get a pic of it but it looks like...erm...um...sperm (i promise i couldnt think of a better example lol) Its in lines around the zoas like maybe the snail left it in his trail

When I pulled mine off it had a long spider like silk line holding it to the zoa colony. I pulled it about 8 inches before it finally broke. -SoLiD

Thats a lucky find, when I found one in my colony I had to come by at midnight and turn the lights one to find it. My colonies were closed in patches so it started getting worried, somebody said check them at night and sure enough there it was just violating my zoos. That sun dial snail got made into a real sun dial muhahaha!
