    Default Cucumbers

Is is possible that sea cucumbers can be cut into two pieces, and both still live?

I got a Tiger Tail about a year ago. It hides under the rocks for most of the day and tries to come out at night. The other day I noticed that there are two of them in there now, each by different piles of rubble. I know I didn't buy two of them. I know there are two in there, though. I just figure that since you can cut a worm in half and both halves live, it must be the same for sea cucumbers. (They kind of like big worms, right?)

Please help me figure this one out.

Yes, multiply in your tank. I don't know about cutting them though. I started with 1 small tiger tail and now have 3. I also have a yellow cucumber that split into 2 just days after I bought it.

Hey, I didn't cut it! I just found another one. I have cut worms in half to make them last longer when fishing. I know both halves stay alive with them, that's all. Please don't call the Cumcumber police.

I've seen what the Tang police can do to a reefer with too many tangs in too small of a tank. It isn't pretty. I don't even want to think about what the Cucumber police would do.
