If you don't have a DVR, spring for that. It's not that much more than the digital box, and it WILL change how you watch TV. We now have 3 HD tvs... Looking seriously at ATT/Dish. I hate TWC. I HATE them.

I only have basic cable. Not sure that there is enough recording material to justify the cost, lol.Originally Posted by bstreep

I currently have dish network. I have their dvr and hd box. There really is not too many channels that come in hd ,but it grows more each day. The dvr is awesome because you can record the whole season of any shows that you watch or any specials that you want. There really is a difference in regular tv and hdtv by the way.

I called up Grande and there is no service at my apartment complex from them.
I used the online query with ATT/Dish Network and they don't provide service to multidwelling rentals (their words).
I guess that I am stuck with TW for television service. Not that I was going to change of course :roll

Nope I do not lose any picture quality. If you looking to get one, make sure it is a powered switch. They sell some push button non-powered switches that really do not transfer the signal well. I like the ability to change it with the supplied remote too. I just wish I got the 5 input rather than the 2 input for future upgrades (cable box, dvd player, p3, or next gen game, or whatever comes next). Newer recievers these days are starting to put HDMI for video inputs. This switch kinda upgrades my reciever. For those who did not see the website in the first post, it is:Lonestar, I am glad you pulled up the HDMI switcher for me. I didn't know that these even existed. Do you lose any image quality with these?
