pool tabs sounds like it will work better seeing as how you gonna be rinsing like you would of done if you didnt use pool tabs. Sounds like a double clean to me!

I know that if I see that stuff even start to grow on a rock or coral that piece is coming completely out next time. It may mean fragging a nice coral to bits but I don't want to deal with this again.

Well, the old tank is now broke down and what I wanted to keep is in a 30 gallon in the garage hooked up to a small wet/dry filter and extra powerhead for flow.
Now to finish cleaning out the large sump in the garage and getting the big tank out of the house and cleaned out good. I picked the worst day/weekend to do this project, just too cold to deal with cleaning it out yet.
Now the planning begins for the new tank. The sump design is not going to change actually, it has worked out great for me. Now it's just a matter of getting the exact tank design I want and stand/canopy. New tank I believe is probably going to be a 135, either brick or double braced so no brace in center where the third light will be and thinking Calfo overflow. Lighting I think I'm going to go with three 12K DE Reeflux bulbs and a pair of 6' VHO actinics.

I might but me and my son should be able to get it. Gonna let it set and wait for the weather to warm up a little before I bother with it. The sand was picked up last night along with the rest of the few critters that were left in there so nothing to die just harder to clean I suppose.
