    Default continuous water changes

so I was doing some reading online and came across this:

    http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2005-10/rhf/index.php

The entire article was really long and I didn't absorb nearly all of it, but I really liked the part about the continuous water changes (toward the bottom). It looks like a really cool idea to me. Very easy for me, very little stress on the animals in the tank... seems like a win/win to me! Anybody else ever tried something like this?

Btw, here are the pumps he mentions:

Definitely pricey but if they made water changes totally painless and also could be used for dosing of other things the investment might just be worth it.

    Default RE: continuous water changes

The problem with continuous water changes is that you don't get as much water changed - the draining part of the equation always throws away some "new" water.
