I think Aquatech is going to have a run on seahorses!... Just so long as they re-stock for my december trip I'll be a happy camper!
Some people are like slinkies.. they serve no useful purpose what so ever.. but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

Take Anderson Lane/Spicewood Springs Exit off of Loop 1 (Mopac) headed north. Turn right on Anderson. Turn left on Burnet. Aquatek is on your right (has a blue roof). If you make a trip over there, give me a pm. I may be able to meet you. (By the way, it is right around the corner from Austin Aquariums, too.)

The babies are super challenging, I hear. Almost like having a new human baby. Late night feedings, cleaning the tank every day, keeping the food alive and flowing.

The other thing is that they sound super expensive and difficult to deal with when the fall ill. There is a load of medicines that are recommended one have on hand if you decide to keep them.

So far, I have just been feeding mine twice a day like my other fish.

BTW... I electrocuted us both yesterday. Apparently, the little filter I had on the tank got an electrical leak. When I stuck my hand in to feed her, I got quite a little zap. I unplugged it quickly and moved her over a little to see if she was ok. She went to the corner and twitched for a little while. She seems to be fine now, but I was definitely in a panic. I feel so bad that she had to live with that! It's just a 10 gal tank, so I imagine the entire thing was a rather strong shock. In a larger tank, she may have been able to get to a part with at least a milder shock. :( Hopefully, it did not go on very long. That morning everything was fine.
