Thread: Plumbing a refugium to the main tank?

Default Plumbing a refugium to the main tank?

I think I will plumb my 10 gal refugium to the seahorse tank (40 gal cube) and move my mandarin over. Is there anyone in Austin that can help me out with the refugium attachment? What parts do I need? The tank is not drilled.

I don't have the 40 gal set up yet, but will probably do it in the next couple of months.

Having done this already to my 55 - and only mildly successfully - I'd put an overflow box on it - see Ace - and just put it on the floor. When I get around to re-plumbing mine, that's what I'm going to do. If you want photos, just email me: bstreep@satx.rr.com

I have a friend here in Austin that drills tanks cheap if you like to try it that way. Or the Tek currently has an overflow box in the used section for $25.
