The flush kit should route the water around the existing flow restrictor bypassing it allowing the water to take the path of least resistance. If your flush kit has a restrictor already in it, I would remove it and use the existing one which should be where the waste line connects to the RO unit. Either way, make sure you use only one restrictor and be sure its designed for your partcular model, ie: GPD.
