After reading the nanostream thread on RC, i am beginning to picture all my animals swaying gently to and fro, every 10-15 mins. I don't like that you can't have these pumps on anything less than a 5 min cycle, and that is pushing it.

The fact that you 'pre-ordered' doesn't mean anything on the PA site. Once they get their streams in they will send out an e-mail and then it's first come first serve. It doesn't place you in any line ahead of anyone else. Did you provide any payment info or did you just place your name and e-mail info? If you go to myreefcreations, you can actually place your order by supplying them with a credit card number and they will charge it once they come in and ship out. I read this on the RC thread in the Tunze forum. It's on one of the last pages if you read through it.
Hmmm....that's not what they told me at Premium. They said people would be contacted in the order that they are on the list, as they expect to receive fewer units than they have orders for at first. I'll call them again to make sure. I don't mind pre-paying...thanks for the heads up.
This is a post from Pico1 over at ReefCentral:
"This is what premium aquatics e-mailed me, I don't think anyone can be at the top of the wait list:
The wait list is just a computer program that holds your email online. When we restock, it sends you a little email with a link to the product saying it's back in stock. So it doesn't hold the item for you, but doesn't obligate you either."
