The only problem I have with the system your talking about is the graphics card. Your running an NVIDIA chipset and then going to run an ATI card? You really should stick with the NVIDIA card with that mobo, you'll get better performance out of it. AMD mobos are designed to run with NVIDIA cards really well. I LOVE my SLI bridged cards since they will do everything I need plus some.

The computer is up and running. It is fast as well! No more freezes or waiting for the system to catch up (compared to my old computer).

I have overclocked the system a bit:

    AMD X2 3800+ (2000) running @ 2450.00
    246 * 10 = ~ 2460
    1.475 core voltage
Core Temps @ ~30C idle and ~48C load
    Prime95 stable ran overnight

All in all a nice ~20% overclock.

I couldn't find a nVidia card in my price range that I liked. All the nVidia cards in my price range were TurboCache (ram stealers) cards. I refuse to buy a card that steals ram from my main board to use on its own. The ATI card, although a different brand, runs great! It is plenty for my needs. I am not running SLI, nor would I. Although SLI is pretty bad ***, I have no need for such power on my system, as far as graphics go.

It work good and is a piece of art to look at.
From what I understand the Zalman's are great coolers. I really thought about getting this specific cooler but ultimately decided against it. I searched for reviews on Arctic Cooler and it rated very good in all reviews. One review even compared it to a Zalman. I felt after doing the research that I could trust this HSF and save ~$20.
