    Default New custom needlewheel skimmer

    Just wanted to share pics of my new custom NW skimmer. Here are the specs:

    2x sedra 9000 pumps
    30" tall
    chamber is 9.5" diameter
    clear coned flanged top
    all cast acrylic (except black parts)
    venturi is connected to drain cup to prevent clogging and overflow (like Lifereef)
    modified union for quick disconnect


    I will take pics once its set up this weekend.

    It will be used on a 200 gallon BB.

    Where did you get it?

    Looks great. That "lifereef" way of pulling are is really great especially because of the no over flow.

    The gentlemens name is Shan and he advertisise on ebay. Go to skimmers under Home and garden and search for ORCA. Very good customer service and seeing the prices of this caliber skimmer from euroreef, deltec, geo etc, he has very resonable prices.
