    Default New Puppy!!

He's arrived!! Poor guy arrived on Thursday after a 5 hour flight from Missouri. We named him "Cooper" and he is an American Foxhound weighing in at 13.5lbs. He's a little on the thin side but give me a week ;)

That puppy looks alot like a Beagle. Looks like he has crazy energy and gets into everything. They are always fun. We,ve got an older Beagle, and when I see him getting ready to bark in my face I have to jump back as if a bomb were about to go off because they have one of the most powerful howls I've ever heard. Do the foxhounds have this similar trait?
Check out what I\'ve got on frags.org here:

LOL! Yep, very similar to beagles except he'll get about 55-65lbs. Our beagle isn't a big barker, we trained her to "say hello" and apparently when you teach a dog to bark on command they think that is the only time to bark. Im hoping he'll be a loud one...I love the hound bay.

Thats awesome! Im taking it he lives up north? Foxhounds are next to impossible to find in this area. Did he train for hunting, showing, or pet? Any pointers are welcome..he's already showing his stubborn houndness :lol ;)

She's thirteen months old. Can't you smell how rotten she is?
