ask for a raise when winter come around
October = fall leaves in full color and apple picking from awesome orchards. Snow not many weeks after. When do you start there?

I'm supposed to start 8 days from now. I'm going to drive off on Tuesday morning. I'm looking in the Classify, but it might not be a good time to buy an unknown car before such a long trip.

looks like vermont! i agree with those saying you should trade in here. a 2wd may well be less valuable/difficult to sell up there.

Actually I'd just drive your car up there and if you don't like driving it in the snow, get rid of it. Because of the salt used on the roads up there, used cars from the south tend to have better resale, at least that's the way it used to be back in the day when I lived up there. Now almost all cars are much better with corrosion resistance and you don't see the kind of rot that was common.

Really, people have survived for many generations on all kinds of cars up there, so don't stress about it. If you're moving on Tuesday, you've got plenty of other things to worry about. Good luck, Vinh!

Good Luck Vinh......BUT I LOVE TEXAS!!! :P My sis spent about 4 yrs up near Boston...loved it after being in South Texas all her life....loved the seasonal changes, but didn't like the people. But of course, she's back here in SA & brought her husband to be with her! Had to come home to Texas. Hope it's a good move for you. Ski Ski SKi!

    Vinh,
Who are we gonna buy stuff from now.
Have a safe move, and keep in touch with us once you get in place. I guess now you'll need to start including shipping fees. ;)
