Im making some renovations to my house and I am in need of a kitchen cabinet maker person!!! its not a very big kitchen and its actually taking some existing ones off and building a small pantry and maybe some re-finishing of existing ones... in a nutshell..

Along the lines of needing a carpenter... is anyone or maybe know anyone that is a structural engineer type person? My wife and I are looking on adding on a small media room (ok more me) in our attic and we would like to hire someone (on the qt) to let us know if they think the structure would support it and if not what would be needed to be done. I’m looking at doing most of the work myself as I tinker as a handy man but I’m not a structural engineer and my wife wants to know that she wont fall down into the garage when we are watching a movie ;). Thanks let me know!!!
