    Default removing Anemones

How do you remove Anemones foot from bottom of tank with sand?

I have heard of putting ice on the foot to get it to loosen. I have not tried this myself.

blast it with a powerhead at its foot. or use your fingers to massage its base and it will slowly let go.

Its attached to sand? If so just pull it out with the sand.

joshua's got the method there. that has worked for me several times as well. just be sure and go very slowly, and keep the card against the tank bottom.

cool, just took a little tickling it's feet and it poped off. We just didn't want to damage it.
    thanks for the input.

Yeah, the carpet I had loved to stick to the glass under my 5 or 6 inches of sand. Moving that thing was quite difficult. I especailly loved the feeling of it stinging the soft part of my forearm as I tried to get it loose.
