Theres really no 'ratio' so to speak, kalk will only dissolve to a certain Ph (12.4) then will settle out of solution. Depending on your containers water voume, Id start at a half cup or so. What is your delivery strategy? Remember, kalk wont do much as far as raising levels as much as it will maintain levels once they are established. A good combination is kalk and a two part balanced system like B-Ionic.
