That's reminded me of something. I used to work on the flight line many years ago in the AF and inspectors would come by every so often and check the grounds attached to our underground fuel tanks. When they would get to the shop several of us had the job to run out to the area and take a leak where the rods were to make sure that they'd test out good.

Much better than having to be out there later that day pounding new grounding rods into the same area with sledge hammers all day trying to get through the base rock.
