Hello,
I bought 6 or 7 of them years ago, tried to grow cultures of them so that I could have my own stock, but was unable to get the eggs to hatch. The adults were released into my main display of 200 gallons and I never saw them again. I had mucho aptaisa at the time, hell you could have called a couple of them show quality, LOL :lol ,
Now I have a Koran that takes care of my aptasia problems and leaves my mushrooms and zoos alone, I am happy.
In a large tank with a big problem, bergies are not a good solution, IMHO. In a tank with a smaller volume and a mild case of aptasia then they would probably be more successful. When I tried them, I would have needed a herd of 20-30 to have made a dent into what I had going on. There was no way I could afford that many bergies for something that no one would tell me that they would for sure take care the problem.
Good luck,
Bill
Thanks Bill!
And pls... Don't Kill Bill... LOL
