    Default Icecap 660

I've acquired a free Icecap 660 but needs repair. I called Icecap and they said send it to them with $60 and they'll fix it up.

Okay, the things I know I'm missing for it are: the cap for the 7A fuse that you put into the into, and the wiring harness.

Where can I buy the cap for the fuse or will Icecap replace it for me?

There looks to be two places where a harness would hook-up on the ballast itself. One side has 4 pins the other 16 pins. Is the harness that you normally find to replace this apply for both hook-ups to the ballast?

Lastly, does anyone have a wiring diagram that shows which pins are what colors? I'm thinking maybe I could make my own harness but I would need to know what pins correspond to the color of the harness wires.

Altex Electronics would have the parts. Try the IceCap website for diagrams or email them.

I've found IceCap to be very easy to work with.

Just found this pic, it is not my actual ballast. What I'm missing is that little silver/grey looking screw cover for the fuse. Altex will have that?

Also, I knoticed that the four pin connection on the ballast, seen in this picture, is not used. What is then the function of this connection, maybe a dimmer or something?

I would just send it to IceCap like that and see how much they will charge you for the little cap. Regarding the 4 pin connector if I recall correctly it was supposed to be for a dimmer.

Yeah the 4 pin is the dimming port. I am sure that IC might even just replace the fuse cap at no charge. Would be cheap even if they charged you for it. Great price on the IC 660 as well. Those deals dont happen to often. lol
