i dont think so. that 420 nm is much better for color than the 460 from the 50/50 bulb.Originally Posted by cbianco

Tell me about it!!! The JBJ bulbs were just white. You couldn't see any blue in the bulbs. Now with the 420 bulb you can see lots of color. With any luck some of my corals may even flouresce (sp?). I am happy with the choice of bulbs.Originally Posted by hobogato
BTW, have you ever seen a 14000K CFL bulb, lol?

Cool, I have never seen a 20000K CFL bulb either. I am assuming that CFL bulbs above 10000 are not popular. I wonder why that is?

I went to CB Pets yesterday. It was my first time there, what a drive!CB had a much larger selection of livestock than I thought they would.
I purchased a peppermint shrimp to attack my aptasia. The peppermint seems to be content hiding behind my rockwork for now. Sooner or later he will get hungry <_< , I hope.

Hey All
I bought this today! It is a 2x36 watt retro kit for my nano cube from www.nanocustoms.com. I got a 10000k bulb and a actinic bulb. I have already modified my reflector so that this will fit properly. I'm excited, it has already shipped yay!
