Default Was someone doing a salt study?

I just opened a new bucket of Tropic marin, and it seems like there was someone asking for samples a while back for a salt study. Do they still need them? I remember it was crucial that it be from a newly opened container.

If that's still needed, can someone point me to the thread here or at RC?

The one I am familiar with is on www.marshreef.com.

Here is a thread on the project, I thought there was another more recent but can't find it - maybe Isis (Kim) can jump in here?

I have collected a few samples to pass along to Isis. If you could fill a gal. ziplock bag with salt and label it with info on where and when you bought it, as well as what brand of salt it is, I would appreciate it. We can work on getting the sample to me later.

    Thanks

Wow, didn't know we had one going. Has it been going on for awhile or is it in the beginning stages?

Matt - it's one that has been going on for awhile through MARSH. I was keeping up with it a bit in the beginning and I think it got started strong and then faltered for a bit, but seems to be back on.

Please check out this thread on the salt analysis project. There is a link there to the MARSH website with more details.

    That's very cool!

I searched and couldn't find out what salt is in what tank. It that info there somewhere?

Maybe we can get Isis to answer that question. I am not exactly sure wht you are referring to.
