My fish room has "room" now - removed the 55g barrels and put this 125g RO/DI reservoir outside. Tomorrow it gets a layer of insulation and a tarp![]()
Pump is inside and circulates water through a mixing station where I add the salt ;)

I was thinking about doing the same thing with my sump and fuge, will not fit under main tank and takes up to much room in den being set up behind tank. Not really worried about summer, can work to keep water cool. Just not sure about winter and the water getting to cold. Still have not thought it out to well.
If it ain\'t broke, Dont fix it!

Cool. A drive-up water station. Is this self-service or full-service? LOL
Nice. Make sure the tarp is real thick. If that thing gets any direct sunlight you may come down with a green alge problem.
I put a layer of insulation under the tarp, and it will only have water in it long enough to get a water change done once every two weeks.
Steve - Never finished my post I guess. Yes that is pretty cool. Was that in your fish room before. I do not remember that being in there. But I guess you now have a whole bunch more room now. Enough for another tank in there perhaps?
