    Default Coralline

    I have purple coralline algae growing on my heater. Should I scrape this off?

    you can. it won't realy hurt anything. if you wanna clean it just soak it in some vinager-water.

    It could cut down on your heat exchange on the heater. Like adding a layer of insulation.
