Default Nice new addition to the tank

my mom felt so bad for killing my tang, domino and psudochromis, that she ordered some fish from saltwaterfish.com.
She got a Naso, a yellow tang, a lettuce nudi, fire shrimp, queen conch, and finally the nicest looking of all a black percula. I was told that it would bond with my other True percula, and they have been swimming around together since we acclimated him. I have to tell you it's a strikingly beautiful fish! Now if they would just host in something all would be good. I think I need a large Long tenticled coral or I'm debating a LTA or a RBTA. I'm really not too keen on getting an anemone, cause I don't want to lose any fish. I'm curious though how an anemone will take a fish down, but why wouldn't a large hammer, frogspawn or LT Plate do the same thing?

I just recently had to purchase a PBTA because my true perc was trying to host in my torch coral. The torch was beginning to sting the true perc and making it look as if it had some sort of ulcer on one of its sides. Just make sure you are ready for an anemone because they can easily die if not taken good care of. Do your homework. Most anemone's will leave all other fish alone. I've seen many in tanks that really don't bother any of the other fish.

I really like some of the carpets like the blues and greens, I've never seen a RBTA in person. I've got a Seabe, but it can't seem to find a place it want to put it foot down. I've tried in the sand, on the rocks, top, bottom... He's all over the place. I've found him in my Zoo's on my kenya tree. Luckily I've been right there to get him before anyone got stung too badly.

A carpet anemone will take a fish. You're better off with a LTA or BTA. If you have clowns hosting in it, they will keep any other fish away from them. They're not big fish predators anyway. Their diet is mostly shrimp (I think) in the wild and their sting is not as strong as a carpet.
