It looks like it was stung pretty hard. Overall all it looks healthy. Keep a close eye on it. Where did you find it if you dont mind me asking?

Looks like he lost the battle to me! Maybe an iodine dip to stop any infection and further tissue loss?

We've done that...fell into a meat and the battle raged through the night. The chalice is fine...it didnt continue to die, just sort of stopped and is now recovering. We can always 'babysit' it for ya ;) While Im stealing corals Ill take Minnie too...lol.

Killed my first coral in 1991, have tried to do better since. Always tricky.
I had a chalice fall into something (can't remember what) that damaged a lot of tissue. Seemed to heal very fast.
Hopefully that will so someday we can buy some frags from you!!

I had my blood red chalice do the same thing a few days ago from a falling acro. So far there hasn't been any additional tissue damage.
