Now you have stepped over my line!!!! Mrs.SB and myself DO watch over what our daughter does on the net.!!! We check out all of the sites! In fact the computer is in the living room, so that we can MONITOR what she is doing. But what Mrs.Sb is saying that if we should happen to turn our heads for a moment, and something pops up, then we can not see it at that time.
MAAST should be a "KNOWN" safe place for everyone to visit! Period!
Wait until you have kids one day, and you will then be screaming the loudest.

Hey Bob...the more you type, the more of an idiot you become. You can't even hold down a job. Stop trying to give advice to people with kids, you have nothing that any respectable parent wants to hear...other than examples of who to stay away from.

I really resent what you said. Just because someone deems a site suitable for their children doesn't mean they stop being a parent to them. We cannot keep our daughter from seeing all bad things anywhere else, but we should be able to do so here on sites we research thoroughly. After reading the By-Laws and Regulations, this site IS suitable for our daughter...not the links or pictures that someone puts up for a gag. Our monitoring of what our daughter sees and hears in this house, her friends, where she goes and what she does is our paramount concern. It never stops...which is why when we see something offensive or crude here on MAAST, we are glad the Moderator's and BOD are working hard to keep this a family-friendly site. We know that she hears and sees things we don't want her to, but it is not going to happen in our house, on OUR site. (What we mean by "our" site, MAAST, we are both dues-paying members, and we have a voice as to what happens on this site.)

BOB, just to get this straight...l FIND IT OFFENSIVE AND CRUDE AS WELL. I DON'T LIKE SEEING IT EITHER. IF I WANTED TO SEE THINGS THAT ARE CRUDE AND OFFENSIVE, I WOULD NOT BE ON A SITE THAT PROMISES TO BE NON-OFFENSIVE AND NON-CRUDE.

And by the way...DON'T EVER, EVER ACCUSE ME OF NOT BEING A PARENT TO MY CHILD UNTIL YOU HAVE MET US AND DRAWN YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS. Otherwise, lay off.
