    Default Calcium reactor

I am looking for input regarding specific Ca Reactors that you all have personal experience with. Pros and cons? What size is recommended for a 215 gal and what is the best way to set it up? How difficult is it to maintain? Any suggestions?

I have not used one in the past but I am looking at getting one from My Reef Creations. www.myreefcreations.com

Check them out. From what I've seen so far they make a very nice product.

I have the Korallin 3002 on my 125 which is rated for a 800 gal and love it.

I've made many calcium reactors; you might want to talk with someone who owns one before you buy something. (PM me if you need some names) Currently Felipe at Fin-addict has one (he's got three, one supporting his main system, one he's going to use for something else) for sale at a very reasonable price. If you buy it, I'll make sure it's in good shape and, of course, if anything ever goes wrong with it I'll take care of it. Since it's not really a business for me, just a hobby, I build them to last forever and I don't mind fixing older ones in the rare case there's a problem. One thing; I think that one has a mag pump on it, and it would be best to replace it with a pan world or at least an eheim. Still, I think it's cheap enough to do that and still come out ahead.

Were you able to get a reactor yet?

I am in the process of tunning a Korallin 1502 right now. PM me if you want any info on how they work. I'll also dish out the good and bad points of it ;)

honestly I think MUCH more for your money then the reef creations setup. That thing is expensive. I'll post pictures of my setup, so you can see what I just got. I think ReefOne could make you one that is MUCH better. None of them are bottom flow, and thier single chamber setup you could get a dual chamber setup for the same price or less probably.
