Thread: Engineer Gobys, gone or hiding?

Default Engineer Gobys, gone or hiding?

I bought three engineer gobys. I acclimated them and then had to go to school after I put them in (I added a few other items at the same time from the reeftopia group order). I came back and one was still there, in full view but the other two are no where to be found. They are a little bigger then an inch long. I have a sailfin, a maroon clown, a brackish fish that someone told me the name of but can not remember, two little blue damsels with yellow tails and a striped damsel, cb shrimp, brittle stars, and the usual hermits, snails and emeralds and such.

I took the one out of the tank and put him in the smaller tank that is housing a tomato clown and its new friend , a little juvenile clown and a blue damsel. I think I am going to take the blue damsel out and leave him in there as i do not want to put him in the big tank and loose him.

Any idea where they BOTH could have went? I thought maybe hiding and I would find a pile of sand somewhere but no such luck :(

they could be hiding, they do like to burrow in the sand, but they are also jumpers. Check around the tank and if you dont find them they are hiding somewhere, that would be my guess.
