    Default bad epoxy

I have been trying to use aquastik epoxy putty to mount some frags on to live rock, but the stuff doesn't seem to hold well. Do I have to attach the frag to the LR outside the tank? Wouldn't that hurt the coral being exposed to the air and all? Is their anything else I can use? I heard super glue gel would work but how safe is it and can you use it under water?

Use super glue.. Some of us use Loctite®, works excellent and 100% safe to use.

most frags are fine out of the water for a little while. Some people even ship certain SPS without water. Just don't leave it out so long it dries out.

i usually glue the frag to a small piece of live rock outside the water to make sure sticks well, and then i put a glob of superglue gel on that rock and glue it into place in the tank.
