Default W.C. How many is to many?

Water changes, how many is to many? I ask this because with my dedicated water change sump (15-20 gal) and premixed water in the garage, It takes me no more than 10 minutes to do a water change. I don't even get my hands wet. Therefore, since around January, I have been doing water changes several times a week. I'll have to admit that I am trying to make up for all of the water changes I didn't do in the past in order to get my tank back up to par and looking as nice as the TOTM's.

Is there a point where the frequency would be doing more harm to my tank, or just wasting money on salt?
Don't put the price on the bag please.

I think it gets to be a waste of money on salt once the frequency of water changes gets too high. I would say stick with just a once a week water change. The amount of so called 'bad' water you remove every few days or so really isn't that much. If you change out every few days, your going to be pulling out more 'good' water than 'bad'. Maybe once a month, in addition to the weekly changes, you can do a 20% water change too....

I imagine there is no such thing as too many water changes. The only thing that can limit you would be money and time.

Good article that shows some graphics about water changes.
