Usually with any coral that you purchase, it takes a couple of days for it to full open/extend. There is normally a bit of shock and agrevation during the transfer. If you are worried that the problem is not the actual tranfer then it is suggested that you test your waters nutrients for elevated levels.

Look at the pic of mine in the photo forum under full tank shot... I have one of these that is about 8in tall. I just fragged it and got four nice sized frags out of it and you can hardly tell. Anywho... mine used to slump over like that when it was stressed. You might try moving it to a spot with less current.

i dont have much current in my tank so do you think it is just a little stressed also at the pet store it was not doing well it looks alot better in my tank one side is up and the other is slump over .i do think that it might be stressed but just because of the move.

this one has is living with a considerable amount of indirect current. when i shut the current off it will slump. it is a little over a foot across. it is purple, kind of wine colored.

its worth a try. i have found this coral to be very hardy. it has grown from a softball sized colony to this in about 4 months, i took 10 frags off of this one only a week ago.
