    Default Initial leak/plumbing test???

I am in the process of completing the plumbing set up on my 215 rr with sump, refug, and skimmer. I am going to add the water and want to know any tips or precautions I should take before I start the pumps. Is there anything preventative I can do to make sure there are no leaks? I am new at this, so the last thing I want is to have water all over the place.

I ran mine with just tap water for two days just to make sure there weren't any leaks or anything that I had to change before draining and refilling with ro and adding salt.

You can fill the dams with water and check bulkheads for leaks.
You can also fill sump and check for leaks.

And then make sure it is level and then do what Richard just said above and run system with tap water for a day or two (preferably on the weekend) or when you are around to keep an eye on it in case there is a problem.
