Our baby died...Cookie bear passed away last night.
Last night was the worst night ever for me and abby. We went to San antonio last night to get some acrylic and on the way home, abby told me about a dream she had the night before. She said that cookie died. She came home and found her and she said she was so scared. We talked of how we would be devestated if she left us. Well when we got home last night at 11 her dream became a reality. I heard a scream "honey!" i took off and i found my baby lifeless on the floor. I picked her up and told her to come back and not to leave us. She did! Her little heart started to pump and she blinked her eyes. We rushed her to an emergency vet and they got her stabalized. We thought she was gonna make it...she was always such a fighter. We got to visit with her and see those pretty little brown eyes looking back at us. We told her she would be ok and we would see her soon. We came home and then @ 3:52 we got a phone call. She died on us. She came back again but then she passed shortly after. We had treated her for heartworms on monday, made sure she was not active. She was only a stage 1, not even severe. That's because she had them before we had her. But only 1% of dogs die from the treatment. Unfortunately our little angel was part of that group. God must have really needed her because he could'nt have just taken her for no reason. Please help me and say a prayer for Abby. She is a wreck, i'm scared because she loved her so much, she was our own little baby. Thanks my fellow maast friends for putting us in your prayers.
