theatre work is indeed fun. we have good times while we do mundane sweeping tasks.

free movies + popcorn + soda is a good perk also.

if a ride if the problem why not work over night, pay is better than working during the day, if you can handle it. if you are serious i can get you a overnight job at a walgreens that is close to you. i think the starting pay is 8.50 for overnight stockers or cashiers. just pm me and let me know mike, and i willl see what i can do for you

I agree with what others have said. If it were me, I'd jump on satx's offer VERY quickly, have fun at the theatre and forget about the whoe thing at the Chinese place. One of my Mom's favorite sayings when I was a kid was, "Well, sometimes life isn't fair.". In a perfect world everything is fair, but it's not perfect and occasionally we get sort of a raw deal with something in life. Those who succeed in life- financially and in terms of happiness (which is more important than money of course) are those who take unfair situations that happen to them in life and move onto something better and don't dwell on it. Get yourself a better, more fun job and bust your butt at it and don't look back! JMHO...
