How disappointing, I thought this was going to be an interesting thread ;)
I have used "Great Stuff", and if it's anything like it, I wouldn't trust it in my tank. That "stuff" out gasses for months!

Ok ... so black and "for aquariums" ... just another money making marketing tool. :innocent ;)

I don't think this is like the greatstuff, like I said, specifically designed for the aquarium/pond industry.
It can be cleaned btw, when it's wet there is a solvent you can buy, and when it's dry it's called a razor blade!
And trust me, with two reeflo darts on a 120 cube for circulation and closed loop, not going to be much settling, my oceans motions revolutions will be hitting the back wall on 3 of their indexes, so it will consistently get a nice blast of water.
besides, I want to cover it with polyps anyhow.![]()
"Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind." ~ Jack Handey
Its basically the same thing. Im using the great stuff in my tank now. The only difference i think is the color and it will last a few years longer than great stuff. MH lights will cause this stuff to break down after a few years.
i have 4 cans of this stuff in my garage left. i used it on some of my rock work on the new tank. won't be using if anyone wants them let me know.
