You would definitely need something to control this unit! Maybe you already have the ORP on your system and could simply control on/off based on your ORP monitor/controller?
It has the right type of ozone generator "Corona Discharge" that is more reliable & cheap to operate.
Might be a piece of junk, but at $60 maybe worth trying, if you can rig up an ORP controller.
Maybe Todd can offer any knowledge of this unit?
BTW - I shelled out the bucks for the Red-Sea unit and it has been "Plug & Play" literally.
