I'm back in saltwater after a 5 or 6 year hiatus. Been keeping and breeding cichlids and other FW fish in the meantime. Anyway, I have a 75 with mostly predators including a small volitan lion, orange oyster dog, and an arc-eye hawk... Anyway, they are eating frozen krill and shrimp, ghost shrimp, and I've been feeding them some cichlid juvies from my large producers (South Americans-300+ in a spawn). I was just wondering if their nutritional value was comparable to marine fish like silversides. Mind you, the live ones are occasional treats-I've seen too many spoiled fish working in the business to feed only live unless I have to. What about feeding mollies? WOuld raising them in FW or SW make any difference?
