    Ok guys, i will give a frag of pink zoos to whoever tells me what a Bisinctus ruppell is..its supposed to be some kind of fish..Hopefully yall can find pictures and a brief description coming from a reliable source.Anyways, good luck!! 8)

    For many years, your name was added at the end of the scientific name to show who discovered it. Many older books show this. The names were dropped in 1974 for various reasons but I think it became a game with many researchers.

    YES that is what that is, this one on the other hand has three (count them) stripes and is NOT a saddleback. The name of the saddleback tells you why it was named that....Hint first two letters= number of stripes. And they really aren't stripes, just a "saddle"................

    You are right, they are a variation but I can't say for certain as I just like them for what they are.....Pretty FISH.......but you did refer to them when you wanted to buy them as black Percs ????

    Because you had them listed by *subber: (For Sale/Trade Forum - Under: 24 Gal. Nano Parting out !!!!!!!! - 2...black percs very nice pair @ $50). It was afterwards when i saw the picture (it didnt come up the first time) and realized those are saddlebacks.

    Looks like Bisinctus Ruppell or black perculas do not exist..so nobody got the free frag of zoos..LOL, thanks for the efforts though.
