Thread: Fish Stuck!?!?!

  1. #1

    Default Fish Stuck!?!?!

I just got a small blue tang last night and this morning i see his tail through one side of the live rock and hes sideways moving but not getting out. Could he be stuck or is he hiding or what? it looks like there is a big enough hole on the other side for him to swim out but he hasnt yet.

Sounds like he's hiding Rocko...their streamline body lets them do that! They feel safer. Once he feels secure enough to come out, he will. Remember, he's new to his surroundings. Mine sleeps wedged inbetween rocks...good luck.

Sherri is correct. Blue tangs are notorious for doing that, wedging themselves on rock for safety, thats the way they sleep too..give him time..
