I tried wakeboarding once. Got up with NO PROBLEM. But, as soon as I started to lose my balance, I would turn my feet to face the boat. Can you say, "Face-plant?" Very frustrating.
Isn't it getting a little cold now days, though?!

You can either wake up early to get smooth water or keep going out well into the winter months (with a wetsuit). Travis and the Pedernales river stay pretty warm but Lake Austin gets reaalll cold once you start getting close to the dam. Moomba are V nice boats - congrats!
