    Default tank drilling

    heres my problem
i have a 29 natures view aquarium that i want drilled, i know that the bottom piece of glass is not tempered and was wondering how much it would cost to get the said piece drilled also if any one here can cut me a corner overflow and how much would that cost
ive been having a hard time with the HOB overflow radomly stoping and the pump pushing water & flooding my bed room hence why i want to do this. aslo oceanic recomends i dont drill the tank but since you guys know what you doing i figured id ask before i got anything done

The bottom of your tank is not tempered, however, it is an extremely thin pc of glass and we do not recommend you drilling it, because your chances of it breaking would be great.

    Thank you,

If the bottom is so thin is there some reason that you cant drill the back or sides?

Drilling thin glass is normally pretty tough...

no you cannot drill tempered glass. But most tanks are not tempered on the side usually just the bottom. Was the tank new when you bought it? If so then it should of had stickers on the glass that is tempered say "Tempered glass"
